The estate

San José Cholul
Our winning choice is Hacienda San José Cholul. Located about 30 km from downtown Mérida, in the municipality of Tixkokob, this will be the setting for our celebration!
A bit of history: Built between the 18th and 19th centuries, San José Cholul was originally a hacienda dedicated to the cultivation of henequen (known in its time as the 'green gold' of Yucatán). Today, its walls have been restored, preserving its colonial style. We will celebrate amidst stone arches, traditional pasta tile floors, and gardens surrounded by the Mayan jungle.
About Tixkokob: The municipality where the hacienda is located is a town steeped in tradition, renowned for the work of its artisans, who hand-weave some of the finest hammocks in Mexico. We are thrilled to share this place with you.
